So, my Saturday’s oatmeal is on Wednesday… However, on Instagram, you could have seen it already, I didn’t have the power to upload it here as well. I had a pretty bad cold, so I was happy to do the basics. But now! I’m about to share the recipes now, what I wanted before.
In this autumn weather, almost everybody loves pumpkin. With the right spices it is still amazing even, if you eat it every other day. However, the pumpkin is a vegetable; it still works perfectly in a sweet oatmeal. It really is not difficult to make it and taste so wonderful. Here is the recipe for it.
- 250 ml oat milk
- 4 tbsp rolled oat
- 3-4 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup + a little to caramelize
- dried mulberry
- Quinoa puffs
- Warm up the oat milk, add the maple syrup, the spices, the rolled oat and cook it until it’s creamy. Add the purée and stir it in completely.
- Meanwhile, in a pan, warm up some maple syrup and caramelize the banana and the fig.
- Plate your oatmeal and add the toppings: banana, fig, mulberries, pecan nuts and quinoa puffs.
Trust me, it is worth to try it, even if it sounds weird for the first time. This bowl got an amazing autumn flavor in it.
