There are times, when you need something to snack on. Well, for me there are many times like that. I love something salty and crunchy. When I started my new diet, it was very difficult to cut my snacks short. I still eat some unhealthy things, but it is much better now. When I turn to something like that, mostly, I do my favorite snack, all time.
When it is autumn, you can see fresh, seasonal pumpkins everywhere! Any kind, color, form, size, doesn’t matter, if it is edible. I seriously love pumpkin. Squash was always on hour table in my entire life. We always roasted it (even in these days), slowly until it caramelizes and it is so sweet in your mouth. We don’t add anything, just the squash and it is still incredibly tasty.
There are certain food that bring you back to your childhood. It can be anything comforting. Our brain and taste buds are just so amazing, that it can create such a warm feelings, when you taste something, which reminds you of your childhood. For there are lots of meals, because we always cooked at home (well mostly, sometimes we made some drama to go to the McDonalds… :D).
I mostly put fresh fruits over my oatmeal, lot of times it is blueberry, because I just simply love them. Then I saw some other photos, when they cooked it into the oatmeal, and it gave it a perfect purple color. Of course, it does, but it never came into my mind just like that. I tried it and it looked amazing!
When the weather gets colder, I am more into baking. However, I could cook anytime. I still need to figure the gluten and dairy free baking out, which means some failure, or some failure with perfect results. Just like with this recipe. When I posted on Instagram, I have gotten some comments to share the recipe, but I need to warn you. It is not perfect yet. Therefore, if you’re willing to do this delicious apple pie, then you need some patience. 😉
